Community Models: Christmas Card with UbiOps

Christmas card with UbiOps

Christmas is here again and we thought that it would be a good opportunity to do something fun with coding and AI! This model takes an input image and returns the image with some Christmas decorations and a Christmas hat for every person in the image. Accepts JPEG or PNG.

Do you want to check how to create a simple image-processing app, that gives everyone in the picture a nice Santa hat and puts up some Christmas decorations to make the picture more festive?
You can find it here -> towardsdatascience.com/forgot-to-make-a-christmas-card-lets-make-one-with-ai

Please note that the face detection algorithm used in this app is a standard one provided by media pipe. It is known to have difficulties with low-contrast and noisy images.

Let’s have some fun! Share your Christmas image on your social media with #UbiOpsUse any .png of .jpg image with a face in it as an input. Then, click ”run code”

Disclaimer: Make sure there is enough space above each face for a Christmas hat. Also, the model will take longer the higher the resolution of the image. Lower resolution images work better!Created: 15-12-2021
